Postforming Laminate Production Line

Worktop and decorative-surface production with MDF cores and HPL laminate, from glue application and pressing to edge forming. Panel dimensions, thickness, edge shape and target capacity guide the configuration.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

From MDF core to finished worktop

After surface preparation and glue application, the MDF panel is covered with HPL and pressed. Edge forming is matched to the product geometry. Rounded-edge and sharp-edge panels are reviewed against their process route and required finishing operations.

Product specifications, materials and factory conditions guide the equipment and line-layout review.

PROJECT CONFIGURATION

A line arranged around the product

  • MDF core and HPL laminate matched to the panel specification
  • Glue application and pressing arranged for the selected materials
  • Forming adjusted for edge geometry and radius
  • Loading, transfer and unloading matched to project capacity
  • CNC integration and final finishing reviewed within proposal scope

Before selecting the line

Answers about the process, materials and project configuration.

Which materials are used for postformed panels?

The described process uses an MDF core and HPL laminate. After preparation and glue application, the panel is laminated and pressed, then its edge is formed to the required geometry. Adhesive and laminate selection must suit this process.

How do rounded-edge and sharp-edge configurations differ?

The edge geometry and finishing route differ between these products. Rounded-edge radius, sharp-edge panel shape and any cutting or machining requirements should be defined in the product specification so that suitable equipment and settings can be proposed.

Is CNC equipment included in every configuration?

CNC integration and final finishing are reviewed according to project requirements. These items must be defined in the proposal scope; the line or postforming-unit illustration alone does not establish CNC inclusion in every arrangement.

What should we send for a line proposal?

Send MDF dimensions and thickness, HPL specification, adhesive type, edge geometry and radius, target capacity, finishing requirements and a plant layout. Installation, commissioning and technical-service scope are also defined in the project proposal.
