Production process

From prepared fibre to raw MDF board

Wood fibre is prepared, refined, dried and blended with resin before a forming machine makes the fibre mat. The multi-opening press consolidates that mat under controlled heat and pressure. Board dimensions, thickness, density, target capacity and the number of press openings define the configuration.

Width, thickness and capacity ranges are stated design options. The final configuration and achievable capacity are confirmed after reviewing feedstock, density, the production plan and plant conditions.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to help select a configuration and prepare your project information.

What does the multi-opening press do in this line?

The press consolidates the formed fibre mat into raw MDF board using controlled heat and pressure. Its number of openings and configuration are selected for the board dimensions and production plan.

Which widths and thicknesses are stated for design?

Working widths of 1,830, 2,070 and 2,300 mm and a thickness range of 8–32 mm are stated design options. The final selection depends on the product, feedstock and project conditions.

Does every configuration have the same capacity?

No. The stated design range is 600–1,300 m³/day, while the final capacity depends on thickness, density, feedstock and the production schedule and is confirmed in the project technical proposal.

What should we provide for a technical proposal?

Share board dimensions and thickness, target density, daily capacity, wood feedstock and plant layout information. These inputs define the press configuration and the supply scope for your project.
