Paper Impregnation Production Line

Impregnate decorative paper with industrial resins for MDF, HDF, particleboard and laminate products. Resin preparation, web guidance, drying and moisture control are coordinated around the paper construction and final use.

Production route

From a paper roll to paper prepared for pressing

The paper roll enters the guidance route and receives melamine or the selected resin system. Thermal drying and moisture and temperature control prepare the paper for laminate and wood-panel production. One- or two-stage impregnation is reviewed according to the intended product.

Paper and resin specifications, the target product moisture and outfeed format guide impregnation and drying selection. The production plan and number of process stages also affect the arrangement.

Line configuration

Coordinate paper impregnation and drying

  • One- or two-stage impregnation for the product
  • Resin-system selection for the paper
  • Paper resin-content and moisture control
  • Drying and cooling coordinated with the route
  • Cutting and collection for the outfeed format
  • PLC control matched to the process configuration

Before selecting the line

Paper, resin and outfeed condition are defined before selecting the process stages.

Which products use the impregnated paper?

The decorative paper is intended for MDF, HDF, particleboard and laminate products. The end use, from cabinet panels to flooring, guides the paper, resin and required outfeed condition.

How is one- or two-stage impregnation selected?

The number of stages must suit the paper type, resin system and product specification. Both configurations are within the described scope, but a second stage is not mandatory for every project and is established during the product review.

Why are outfeed moisture and temperature controlled?

After resin application, paper passes through thermal drying and is prepared for later use. Moisture and temperature conditions must suit the product and subsequent pressing process; target conditions are defined in the project specification.

Which paper and resin specifications are needed for consultation?

Share the decorative-paper type, roll specification, resin system, outfeed format and end use. Target resin content and moisture and the production plan also help establish impregnation, drying and collection equipment.
